Hop on Hop off is a form of touring where you travel independently from other groups on the bus. The Hop It Bus follows a set timetable where you, the hopper, decides where to hop on and off. Using the timetable you can plan your day around our hops and hop at your own pace.

Our ticket prices vary depending on where you get on the Hop It Bus.

• City/Frankston/Lilydale - $92.95 (excl. booking fees)

• Yarra Valley/Mornington Peninsula $72.95 (excl. booking fees)

• Bellarine Peninsula Geelong departure $89.95 (excl. booking fees)

• In region departure & Portarlington $79.95 (excl. booking fees)

The ticket price includes your transport to and throughout the region and route you book. Our Bellarine service does no longer include the ferry ride ticket from Melbourne. You can purchase the ferry ticket directly via https://www.portphillipferries.com.au/

Check out our Regions + Routes page to choose the right one for you. The ticket price does not include tastings meaning you can choose to spend your coin and day, the way you want.

Yarra Valley &. Mornington Peninsula services:

- Pick up from the Grand Hyatt, Melbourne CBD (Russell Street entrance), Lilydale Station/Frankston Station or any in region Hop It stop

Bellarine Peninsula service:

- Geelong Train Station (if coming from Melbourne), Geelong Pier Carpark and Leopold

- 'In Region' ticket can be booked for pick up at any of the Hop It stops on the timetable

- Additionally you can request pick up from Curlewis Golf Club

No problem at all! We’ve carefully curated timetables that cater for anyone, even if you don’t like wine. There’s so much to explore in these regions such as chocolate, gin, craft beer, beautiful views and even hot springs.

All of the stops on our timetables are amazing places to visit, each in their own unique way. We wouldn’t feature them if we didn’t think that they can provide incredible service coupled with incredible produce. Check out our Regions + Routes to find out more about the places we hop.

Although we don’t have a tour guide as such, we have drivers that are super knowledgeable and will ensure that you have the best experience. They’ll be able to answer your burning questions about where to get the best gin, rum, wine and so on.

Yes, there will be other hoppers on the bus, however each group travels independently and they may not all hop off at the same stops as you.

7 days prior to tour start - no refund on ticket purchase; transfer/credit option available for another preferred date.

All refunds will be processed less any merchant and booking fees.

No-shows or change of mind are not eligible for a refund.

We are unable to accommodate suitcases on our buses. We are able to fit 1-2 small carry on bags however you will need to contact us beforehand to ensure we have space.

The maximum group size we accept is 6. We want to make sure that everyone on the bus has an amazing experience. If your group is larger than 6, it’s always best to organise your own private vehicle. We’ve got some great recommendations, so feel free to give us a call on 03 8596 2659!

We highly recommend that you book your ticket in advance as we may not have any availability on the day. If you’re brave enough, you can meet us at any of the stops and try your luck. Payment via credit card is accepted on the bus.

As much as we love dogs & cats and all other animals, we are unable to accommodate them on our buses. Some wine regions offer dedicated wine tours where you can bring your pet such as Pooches & Pinot

Unfortunately, our hop on hop off routes are not suitable for children under the age of 18.

Your ticket covers your for all day transport within as well as to and from the region of your choice. Any tastings, food and other purchases will be at your own cost.

Please note that ferry tickets for our Bellarine Peninsula service are no longer included in the hop on hop off ticket price. Please purchase these directly via https://www.portphillipferries.com.au/

We’ve got plenty of space on the bus for all your purchases. We’ll look after it for you throughout the day.

We offer free water and a coolbox to store any purchases in. We also have the best playlist available. Due to the size of the buses, we do not have any toilet facilities.

Due to Covid-19, a lot of venues have introduced a booking system. Please refer to our venue guide and plan your day in advance to make sure you don’t miss out.

We are able to accommodate guests that use foldable wheelchairs and are able to get in and out of the bus without the wheelchair. We'll be able to reserve the front seats if required. Please add your requirements into the 'special requirements' field during the booking process or give us a call on 03 8596 2659 to discuss further and to make sure we can accommodate everyone.

Yes! We’re proudly working towards a fully electric fleet by 2030, and every route is designed to reduce the number of cars on country roads.
